Opera/Choral/Concert Music
A Gardener - a short opera with libretto by Benjaman Bonnema, was developed by American Opera Projects and New York University, in association with the Fort Greene Parks Conservancy, in Spring 2016. This orchestration was commissioned by the Grinnell College Department Of Music. The piece is a meditation on climate change - the gardener is tending to his grounds and gardens, on a day that may be the end of the world. Sung by countertenor Eric Brenner.
Look Outside - is a choral piece written in collaboration with poet Kathryn Benson. Performed by The Rose Ensemble in Fall 2008.
Rose In Hand - is sung by Brian Cavanagh-Strong, Timothy Newton, Michael Oxley & John Rommereim. Performed 2006.
